Eleena Ohanessian

I joined Menneh Legal in September 2024 as a paralegal. I have worked in the legal field for seven years, since completing a DEC in Paralegal Technology at Collège O'Sullivan de Montréal in 2019.

I support several of the firm's lawyers at once. I prepare the documents their files require and I work directly with clients to gather what is needed and keep them informed of where their file stands.

My files run across civil, commercial and real estate matters. Each carries its own deadlines and its own forms. Moving between them in a single day is part of the work.

• I prepare the documents your file requires and I check them before they go out
• I work with several lawyers at the same time, which keeps every file current
• I am your point of contact for the practical questions: documents to provide, deadlines, next steps
• Seven years of practice have taught me to identify what can compromise a file and to give those points particular attention from the outset

Off duty

• I train at the gym, my way of clearing my head before or after the office
• I cook often and I go mostly for dishes I have never attempted
• I travel whenever the chance comes up, as much for the break as for the place itself
• I like going out, and it keeps me steady when the files pile up
